Welcome to Second Grade!

Dear Second Grade Students and Families,
Welcome! My name is Mrs. Ashley Kimble, and I am honored to be your child’s second grade teacher this year. I am looking forward to an exciting year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and many memorable experiences. Although many of our incoming students may already recognize me from around school or from our time together during lunch and recess last year, I cannot wait to get to know each child as an individual. Watching their confidence, curiosity, and independence grow throughout the year is one of the greatest joys of teaching second grade.
Second grade is such a special year, and I feel incredibly grateful to be a part of this important chapter in your child's educational journey.
To help us get off to a smooth start, please send the following supplies with your child on the first day of school.

School Supplies:
3-5 glue sticks
1 child-sized pair of scissors
1 24-pack of Crayola crayons
1 12-pack of Crayola colored pencils
1 ruler with both inches and centimeters
6 heavy-duty plastic two-pocket folders (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)

A Stationery/Classroom Supply Fee will be applied through FACTS.
