Welcome to Fourth Grade!

   I am so blessed and excited to be part of the St. Peter’s School family. I truly love what I do, and I feel grateful every day to teach, encourage, and grow alongside my students.

Our classroom is a happy, welcoming, and safe place where children are encouraged to be themselves, take chances, ask questions, and have fun while learning. I want every child to feel loved, supported, and excited to come to school each day. At the same time, I believe in challenging my students to do their best and discover just how much they are capable of accomplishing.

Fourth grade is filled with learning, exploration, creativity, and technology. We strengthen our reading and writing skills, enjoy book reports, build our vocabulary, and use 21st-century technology throughout our learning. In social studies, we explore New Jersey and our world. In math, we develop strong skills in multiplication, division, and many other important fourth-grade concepts. In science, we explore matter and energy, plants and cells, ecosystems, and the solar system.

Most importantly, our faith is at the heart of everything we do. As a Catholic school community, we learn about Jesus and how His example teaches us to treat others with kindness, compassion, love, and respect. We pray together, learn about the Saints, grow in our understanding of faith, and pray the Rosary and for our families, school, and those in need.

Our fourth graders also have the special responsibility of helping with St. Gregory’s Pantry. Through collecting and distributing goods, our students learn the importance of service, generosity, and caring for others.

I am proud to be part of our little Catholic school community. I love our students, our families, and the wonderful spirit that makes St. Peter’s such a special place to learn and grow. I look forward to a fantastic year filled with learning, laughter, faith, friendship, and lots of exciting accomplishments!
