Position Summary

The School Accounting Clerk provides accounting, billing, and record-keeping support for the daily financial operations of St. Peter School. The Accounting Clerk works closely with the School Principal, Parish Business Manager, and School Secretary to ensure that financial records are accurate, organized, and maintained in a timely manner.

This position requires accuracy, attention to detail, confidentiality, good organizational skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with school and parish staff.

Essential Responsibilities:

Accounting and Record Keeping

Invoices and Accounts Payable Support

After Care Billing and Accounting

Tuition Accounting - FACTS

General Administrative Support

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience with bookkeeping, accounting, billing, or financial data entry preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organizational and record-keeping skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Comfortable working with spreadsheets, accounting software, and online financial systems.

Experience with FACTS tuition management is preferred but not required.

Ability to communicate professionally with parents, vendors, and school and parish staff.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
